The rampant violence in Jamaica knows no borders and boundaries and it does not discriminate.  The latest victim of the violence is one of the top singers of the late 80s and early 90s. Leroy Gibbons.

The Jamaican police has conformed that Gibbons was shot along the Port Henderson main road in Portmore St Catherine on Monday.

The entertainer and his friend were standing on the street early Monday morning when they both became victims of a drive by shooting.

Gibbons who received two gunshot wounds was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Gibbons was one of the top singers in dancehall reggae back in the 80s with songs like Lovers Question, Cupid and Magic Moment.
