New date for Frankie Paul’s funeral as family is not getting much help from the Reggae fraternity.

When Frankie Paul was sick and dying in the hospital, he did not receive a lot of financial help from the reggae community.  Now that the late great dancehall star has died, he is still not receiving much financial help for his final farewell.  As a result, his burial that was originally scheduled for June 10, had to be pushed back a week to June 17.

Frankie Paul’s sister, Tisha, confirmed the change of date with 18 Karat Reggae.

“Yes, it’s true. The date move to next Saturday, June 17, at Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. The burial will be at Dovecot Memorial Park in St Catherine same way; dat no change,” Clarke said.

Frankie Paul, who had lost a leg to diabetes in 2016, died of renal failure died at the University Hospital of the West Indies in St Andrew on May 18. He was 51.

Frankie Paul is known for his dancehall classics like Kushumpeng, Sarah, Alicia, Casanova and Worries.

  1. It is so sadd 2 know that Frank Paul died like that without getting the help which could keep him nuch longer on earth. The music industry needs to do better for our entertainer.
