For the second week in a row, a woman stands atop the Reggae Billboard chart and for the second week in a row, that woman is Etana.
Etana’s album Reggae Forever which was released by Tads International Records has sold more than 700 copies in the 2 weeks since its release.
Etana faced major backlash from the reggae community in 2016 when she came out in strong support of Donald Trump. That did not keep the strong one down however. She was able to pick herself up, dust herself off and rise to the top again. There is a saying that if a man washes his hands, he can eat with kings, Etana has proven that the same is true for women also.
Etana is now riding above the top male performers in reggae. She is above Chronixx who is sitting at number eight with Chronlogy and Damian Marley who is at number four with Stony Hill.
