The sister of reggae crooner, Jah Cure, is still locked up in a Florida jail awaiting a trial date.  Mckadia Alcock was arrested in December of 2016 after allegedly trying to smuggle cocaine into the United States.

According to the official website of the Broward County Sheriff’s office, Alcock is being held without bail and her court date is still pending.

18 Karat Reggae contacted the Broward County Sherriff’s office to inquire about a court date but we were told that a date has not been decided as yet.

Alcock is facing various drug charges including, possession of cocaine, conspiracy to import cocaine, and conspiracy to possess cocaine.
